Shipping & Delivery Policy


This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed with Jan Click Flooring Wholesale Ltd, trading as Laminate Depot (“we”, “us”, “our”), via laminatedepot.co.uk.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.


Delivery Information

To help ensure a successful delivery, please inform us of any parking restrictions, narrow roads, gated entrances, restricted access, or other delivery difficulties when placing your order. We will pass this information to the delivery company where appropriate.

If access to your property is not possible or is considered unsafe, the driver may unload the goods at the nearest safe and accessible location.

Deliveries are made on a kerbside/front-of-property basis only.

Delivery drivers are not insured or required to carry goods inside your property. Please ensure that sufficient assistance is available if your order is too large or heavy for you to move safely.


Delivery Times

Our standard delivery hours are 6:00am to 9:00pm, Monday to Sunday.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time unless this has been agreed with us in writing.

Our standard delivery timeframe is 1–10 working days following dispatch, although this may vary depending on stock availability and delivery location.

We aim to dispatch orders within 3 working days of receiving cleared payment wherever possible.

Once your order has been dispatched, either we or our delivery partner will contact you by email or telephone to arrange or confirm your delivery date. Please ensure your contact details are correct when placing your order.


Delivery Delays

While we make every effort to deliver within our estimated timescales, delivery dates are estimates only.

If delivery is delayed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including adverse weather, traffic, supplier delays or courier issues, we will keep you informed and take reasonable steps to minimise the delay.

Where there is a significant delay, you may have rights under UK consumer law to cancel your order and receive a refund for any goods not received.


Failed Deliveries

Please ensure someone is available to accept delivery on the agreed date.

If delivery cannot be completed because:

  • nobody is available to receive the goods;
  • access to the property is not possible;
  • the goods are refused without lawful reason;
  • adequate unloading assistance is not available where previously advised; or
  • the order is cancelled or amended within 48 hours of the agreed delivery date,

we may charge any reasonable additional delivery, storage or redelivery costs incurred.

These charges typically range from £19.99 to £99.99, depending on the size of the order and delivery location.


Delivery Confirmation

Drivers are allocated approximately 15 minutes to unload the goods safely.

Where signatures are not obtained, delivery may be confirmed using photographic evidence of the goods at the delivery location.

Photographs are used solely as proof of successful delivery and to assist in resolving any delivery disputes.


Delivery Charges

Standard UK mainland delivery charges typically range between £24.99 and £99.99, depending on the size, weight and destination of your order.

We use both our own delivery vehicles and carefully selected third-party freight carriers.

Any applicable delivery charge will be shown during the checkout process before your order is placed.


Fraud Prevention & Photo ID Verification

To help prevent fraudulent transactions and protect both our customers and our business, we reserve the right to request proof of identity where we reasonably consider additional verification necessary. This may include high-value orders, discrepancies between billing and delivery details, or other fraud prevention checks.

Accepted identification may include:

  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Valid UK passport
  • Other government-issued photo identification matching the purchaser’s details

If satisfactory identification cannot be provided where reasonably requested, we may postpone or refuse delivery until verification has been completed.

Any identification provided will be used solely for fraud prevention and identity verification purposes and will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
