Returns & Refunds Policy


At Jan Click Flooring Wholesale Ltd, trading as Laminate Depot (“we”, “us”, “our”), we aim to make every flooring purchase as straightforward as possible. We understand that plans can change, and this policy explains your rights and our returns process.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.


Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order free of charge at any time before it has been dispatched and receive a full refund.

Refunds are normally processed within 2 business days, although your payment provider may take up to 14 days to return the funds to your account.

If your order has already been dispatched, the returns procedure below will apply.


Returning Your Purchase

If you wish to return an eligible product, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order.

After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Returns are accepted subject to the following conditions:

  • Only unopened, unused flooring packs are eligible for return.
  • Products must remain in their original sealed packaging.
  • Goods must be returned in a clean, resaleable condition.
  • All labels, barcodes and protective wrapping must remain intact.
  • Proof of purchase is required.

We reserve the right to refuse returns where goods have been opened, installed, damaged, stored incorrectly or are otherwise unsuitable for resale.


Restocking Charge

A 10% restocking charge will apply to eligible returned goods to cover inspection, handling and restocking costs.

Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to faulty goods, goods not as described, or an error made by us.


Non-Returnable Items

Unless faulty, not as described, or otherwise required by law, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Opened flooring packs
  • Installed, cut or partially used flooring
  • Special order or bespoke products
  • Clearance or end-of-line products
  • Opened accessories, adhesives, underlays or trims


Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Goods

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, incomplete or incorrect, please notify us as soon as possible and, where practicable, within 48 hours of delivery.

Photographs may be requested to help us investigate your claim.

Reporting within 48 hours helps us investigate with our suppliers and delivery partners promptly. However, nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights if a fault becomes apparent later.

Where appropriate, we will arrange a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund in accordance with your legal rights.


Return Costs

Customers are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning unwanted goods.

Where requested, we may be able to arrange collection on your behalf.

Collection charges typically range from £49.99 to £149.99, depending on the size of the order and collection location.

Any collection charge will always be confirmed before collection is arranged.


Refunds

All returned goods will be inspected upon receipt.

Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Refunds are normally processed within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods.


Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If goods are faulty, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund in accordance with your legal rights.
